Prepare Your Skin for the Season: 5 Steps to Achieve a Perfect and Safe Summer Tan

Summer in Montenegro is not only about relaxation—it’s also a serious test for your skin. The beach, sun, and saltwater can compromise even the most resilient protective barrier. To ensure an even tan while keeping your skin hydrated, radiant, and free of pigmentation spots or flaking, proper preparation is essential. Here’s how to get ready in May so you’re 100% prepared by June.
Step 1: Deep Renewal (Professional Peeling and Retinol)
Goal: Remove the layer of dead skin cells that make the complexion dull and uneven. On renewed skin, a tan will develop more evenly and last longer.
- Our approach: We use professional NOON Aesthetics peels with DermShield™ technology. This system allows effective concentrations of acids (such as glycolic or mandelic acid for tone correction) to be applied without irritation or prolonged recovery—critical before sun exposure season.
- Protocol: 1 treatment in early March. Ideal choice: a peel from the Br (Brightening) line, designed to brighten and even out skin texture.
Step 2: Intensive Restoration of the Hydrolipidic Barrier
After renewal, the skin needs strengthening. Goal: Build a robust protective shield that retains moisture and withstands aggressive sun and wind.
- Our approach: Immediately after peeling—or instead of it for sensitive skin—we perform a Biorevitalisation Triple MCH treatment with NOON Dsˢ (Dry Skin Syndrome) serum. The device delivers active ingredients (hyaluronic acid, ceramides, peptides) deep into the skin with up to 80% efficiency, instantly hydrating and “sealing in” moisture.
- Protocol: 1–2 treatments spaced 7 days apart throughout March. This forms the foundation for healthy skin all summer long.
Step 3: Active Protection and Hyperpigmentation Prevention
This is the most crucial step. Goal: Not just to hydrate, but to prepare skin cells for UV exposure—minimizing risks of photoaging and dark spots.
- Our approach: Antioxidant-rich products are integrated into the protocol. NOON vitamin C serum (from the Br or oA—Optimal Aging lines) acts as a “shield” for the skin. It neutralizes free radicals generated by sun exposure and boosts the skin’s natural defenses.
- Protocol: Home care. We select a vitamin C serum for nightly use throughout the entire preparation period.
Step 4: Smart Daily Hydration
In summer, skin loses moisture much faster. Goal: Provide multi-level hydration.
- Our approach: We use hydrating NOON serums and creams containing hyaluronic acid of varying molecular weights (for both surface and deep hydration) along with components that mimic the skin’s natural lipid barrier.
- Protocol: Home care. Morning and evening creams tailored to your skin type. Mandatory application after every sun exposure.
Step 5: The Non-Negotiable Rule—SPF
Without this step, all previous efforts lose their meaning. Goal: Create a constant barrier against both UVB and UVA rays.
- Our approach: We’ll help you choose a non-comedogenic, broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30–50) with a pleasant texture that you’ll enjoy applying. Reapplication every 2 hours of sun exposure is essential.
- Protocol: A mandatory daily ritual from April through October—even on cloudy days.
